October 21, National Council member and passionate supporter Sally
Minard welcomed an overflow crowd to her home in New York City
(see newsletter). We delighted
in appreciative remarks about Mrs. Roosevelt and Val-Kill from
former NJ Governor Christine Todd Whitman and Vin Cipolla, former
President and CEO and current vice chair of the National Park
Foundation and now President of the New York Municipal Arts Society.
Thanks to the Event Committee--Claudine Bacher, Helen Cook, Georgie
